A Citizen Science

Understanding the state of our local environment is essential to making informed decisions about how best to protect our landscape and wildlife.

These projects are aimed at promoting wildlife recording and data gathering through citizen science. Working with partners, experts, universities, and volunteers, we will increase our knowledge about species and habitats on the Levels, alongside helping local people to better understand and appreciate this unique landscape.

Aim

The conservation and management of the landscape is informed by authoritative data gained through ongoing research and monitoring that engages with local communities and partner organisations.
