Ambassadors and Toolkits — Living Levels

The LLS-6 Ambassadors and Toolkits project will train businesses, tourism facilities and volunteers to become ambassadors for the Gwent Levels as a visitor destination. Training will cover: what the Gwent Levels have to offer, how best to explore the area, needs of different visitor groups, and customer care. The project will also provide training and a ‘toolkit’ to help communities support, maintain and promote walking and cycling routes in their area of the Levels. This project won’t be able to start until others have been completed but keep checking back for information and updates and if you’d like to find out more, please drop Matthew or Lynne a line!

Volunteer to be part of this exciting professionally-led historical research and mapping project which will enhance current knowledge and understanding of life on the Levels from the 17th century onwards.

Local Wildlife Sites

Discover our plans to work with landowners and volunteers to survey, record and map high nature and historical value land to ensure adequate protection of these sites in the local planning systems across the Gwent Levels.
