Hop aboard the bus to nature

There’s a new bus route to RSPB Newport Wetlands!

Getting to the Wetlands just got a whole lot easier and greener! As of August, Newport’s brand-new Route 45 whisks you away from the city bustle straight to the heart of the Newport Wetlands National Nature Reserve. Departing every 2 hours from Newport Bus Station, Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays), this service drops you off right in the car park - how's that for convenience?

Once a hub of industry, the Newport Wetlands is now a haven for wildlife. Wander through a mosaic of wet grasslands, reedbeds, saltmarshes, and saline lagoons, which makes this one of the best sites in the country for viewing wildlife. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just craving fresh air and open skies, this is your invitation to reconnect with nature.
