Living Levels has launched a new learning resource for those working with children and young people, focusing on a unique environment in South Wales. The resource is designed to link the Curriculum for Wales to the fascinating local heritage of the Gwent Levels landscape
Over the past four days, a group of archaeology enthusiasts have been taking part in an excavation of Bronze Age artefacts (2300 BC to 750 BC) on the foreshore of the Severn Estuary at Peterstone, on the Wentlooge Levels.
Gwent Wildlife Trust is seeking to recruit a 4 day a week Volunteering Coordinator for a fixed 2-year contract, as part of the Living Levels Partnership Scheme (RSPB led) on the Gwent Levels, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
As part of the Living Levels Black Spots to Bright Spots project, the partners are organising a clear up of the reen on November 8th on Green Lane and a community litter pick up on Friday 9th November from 09:30am-11.45am.
