Chepstow Walkers Festival is back for 2023!

Fantastic walks of all shapes and sizes, giving you the chance to see Chepstow, the Lower Wye Valley and the East of the Gwent Levels in their Spring finest!

Highlight Events Exploring the Gwent Levels:

Between the Crossing Places - A walk along the River Usk with the Newport Transporter Bridge Project. Tuesday 11th.

Dawn Chorus Walk with Gavin Vella - A walk around Magor with Living Levels. Wednesday 12th.

A Walk through History on the Caldicot Levels - A walk passing Caldicot Castle, Black Rock, Iron Age Promontory Fort and lots more with the Wales Coast Path. Thursday 13th.

Batty about Bats at Rogiet Countryside Park - A fascinating, easy walk around Rogiet Countryside Park with the MonLife Team. Thursday 13th (evening).

Haynes's Hard-Hat Hike! - Join the Newport Transporter Bridge Project for a walk from Newport Wetlands to the Transporter Bridge, with special access, behind-the-scenes, to the restoration of this marvellous bit of engineering. Friday 14th.

Gwent Levels Archaeology - Goldcliff to the Wetlands - Martin Bell joins the Living Levels team from Goldcliff to the Newport Wetlands, while situating the landscape into its historical context in relation to his archaeological research. Saturday 15th.
